Before You Apply

Greetings Grant Seekers!

We're excited that you're interested in applying for a micro-grant from Kids to Kids. First, let's make sure that you understand how our grants work and that you are eligible to apply.

Kids to Kids (K2K) awards grants of up to $500 USD to teams of US volunteers and community leaders towards fun, educational and meaningful projects for kids in our Target Countries. Grant Seekers may submit applications for K2K grants at any time throughout the year. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis every March, June, September and December. We accept the cream of the crop and make sure that all projects are Kid-Approved and uphold our Values.

Sound good? We're sure you have great ideas for projects and we'd love to hear from you. Just make sure that you meet the following Eligibility Requirements before you apply:

• You must be currently serving as a Volunteer with the US Peace Corps.
• You must have been at your site of service for at least 3 months when you apply.
• You must remain at your site of service for at least 3 months after you receive the grant.
• You may only have one Kids to Kids Grant Award at a time. You are invited to apply for another once you have completed your Kids to Kids Project and submitted the Follow-Up Survey.

Still with us? We can't wait to hear your ideas! The best way to submit your application is through our Online Application Form. If you'd prefer to email, mail or fax your completed application, please download the form here.

After applications are reviewed, we'll let you know if your project has been Kid-Approved. Once we match your project to funds, you will receive a Grant Agreement to complete. Finally (last step!), once this Grant Agreement is completed, the Grant Award will be sent directly to the community leader and the project can begin. Yippee!

If you have any questions about the K2K Grant Process or your Application, please drop us an email
